The fine print, in plain words

Parent Policies

These are what you agree to when you check "I agree" on the Chroma Kids Registration form. Please read each one before registering your artist.

1Photo & Video Permission

I give Chroma House LLC permission to photograph and video-record my child during classes, workshops, painting parties, exhibits, and other studio events.

I understand these photos and videos may be used in Chroma House marketing, including social media, the website, flyers, and advertisements. No compensation will be paid for this use.

I may revoke this permission at any time by emailing chromahousefl@gmail.com. Revocation applies going forward and does not require removal of materials already published.

2Chroma Kids Policies & Parent Agreement

Students are expected to treat instructors, fellow artists, and studio materials with respect, and to follow safety directions at all times.

Please dress your artist in clothes that can get messy — real art gets on everything. Aprons are provided but mess happens.

If your child is sick (fever, vomiting, or contagious illness within the last 24 hours), please keep them home.

Chroma House communicates with parents by email at the address provided at registration. Please keep your contact information current.

Chroma House reserves the right to dismiss a student for repeated unsafe or disruptive behavior. Dismissal does not change the refund policy below.

3Participation Waiver & Release

Art activities involve materials and tools such as paints, dyes, scissors, and sculpting instruments. Minor injuries (stains, small cuts, allergic reactions) are possible despite supervision.

I assume the risk of my child's participation in Chroma House activities and release Chroma House LLC, its owner, instructors, and staff from liability for injuries arising from ordinary participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

I am responsible for any medical costs resulting from my child's participation.

4Emergency Medical Authorization

In a medical emergency, Chroma House staff will call 911 first and then attempt to reach the parent/guardian and emergency contact on file.

If neither can be reached, I authorize Chroma House staff to consent to emergency medical treatment for my child as deemed necessary by medical professionals.

I am responsible for all costs of emergency medical care. Allergy and medical information provided at registration is kept on file and shared with staff as needed for my child's safety.

5Attendance & Makeup Policy

There are no makeup classes. Please email chromahousefl@gmail.com when your artist will be absent so the instructor can plan accordingly.

Missed classes are forfeited and are not credited, refunded, or rescheduled.

6Payment & Refund Policy

Payment is due at registration to secure your artist's spot. Current pricing: Art Classes 24-Class Package $648 one-time; Art Class Single Session $55; Tutoring Session $55 per child; registration fee $35 ($15 for the first 25 registrants).

There are no refunds once a package or session begins. Registration fees are non-refundable.

If Chroma House cancels a class or program, affected families receive a credit or refund for the cancelled sessions.

7Pickup Authorization & Late Pickup Policy

Only individuals listed on the authorized pickup list at registration may pick up your child. Staff may ask for photo ID.

Please pick up your artist on time. A 15-minute grace period applies after class ends.

A $25 late pickup fee applies per occurrence after the grace period and will be added to your account.
